Mark Greaney’s twentieth novel ARMORED, came out this month, and it coincides with the blockbuster movie release of THE GRAY MAN, based on his debut novel of the same name! Talk about things coming full circle!
This super successful month is happening just thirteen years after he released The Gray Man on mass-market paperback. We loved talking about his writing journey. Like many successful authors, it was full of practice and hard work learning his craft. Not to mention, the high risk military training he went through as research. He knows the feeling of bullets flying and it shows in his action packed novels.
Armored, his latest novel, tells the story of Josh Duffy, an elite bodyguard who survives an attack in Lebanon, but loses the lower part of his left leg. Relegated to a life as a mall cop, he gets a second chance at his former military life when he takes a high risk mission in the heart of cartel territory in Mexico. A heart-pounding page turner, Armored follows Josh finding his way with the bad-ass support of his former military wife, Nichole!
