All We Buried and DaVinci Chianti

Episode 30 of our Killer Season 2 is a fun respite from everything Covid-19.

It was so nice to put aside our everyday anxiety during these strange times and simply sip wine and talk about a good book!  And, rest assured Mysterious Foodies out there, All We Buried by Elena Taylor is a suspenseful and addictive read! We paired it with DaVinci Chianti and pizza delivery which we think works well with virtual book clubs. Cathi chose the wine from her limited selection in her town in South Dakota, where the liquor store just reopened for pick up orders. Fortunately we both enjoyed it!

Among our scattered conversation (Anyone else finding it hard to focus right now?), we talked about the great characters from the book and how we would like to visit Washington State. We also talked about how  every character needs to have an objective and an obstacle in every scene. This is something Elena Taylor talked about on our podcast last week and we wanted to expand on it.

We wrapped up with talking about the TV shows we’ve been catching up on while staying home.  We hope that you all are finding ways to fill your time while staying safe and healthy!
