Ever have one of those weeks where you are off by a day? That’s me this week. I spent Monday traveling with family, so it felt nothing like the first day of a work week. I imagine that is the root of my problem.
Yesterday was Wednesday. I know it was Wednesday. I brought my dad to his Wednesday morning appointment. A man in the waiting room even asked me for the date, which I was able to easily give him. More than once I said, “I can’t believe it’s Wednesday!” Apparently this was the truth because this Wednesday Update is coming out on Thursday.
Aside from starting off schedule, I hope that April proves to be the productive writing month I want it to be. In March, Cathi and I had wonderfully inspiring talks with authors for our Game of Books podcast. Last Friday’s Corks and Conversation with Brad Parks was awesome! If you haven’t listened already, then you should! Fortunately, we have more Corks and Conversations to release throughout April, so we can be reminded of the fun we had recording them. And I can have weekly tips from these successful writers. I’m sure April will have no choice but to live up to my expectations … and maybe even roll over to some of May if my belated writing continues.
