On the title of his novel:
Undercard is the name for the fight before the main event and turned out to be a perfect choice.
On writing the novel to take place over the course of 24 hours:
David had always enjoyed stories in a tight time frame and wanted to write one. Listener Amber read her copy in the same time frame!
