This week’s, Corks & Conversation with M.E. Browning was both fun and inspiring …
We had such fun talking with M.E. Browning about her career in law enforcement, her transition into writing and the inspiration for her new book, Shadow Ridge. We shared a bottle of Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc Viognier. Luckily, we were each able to find it in our respective locations and enjoyed the light yet complex flavor of this white wine.

On writing…
“This was actually the first time that I had written multiple points of view and so it was a challenge for me to actually capture that and to be able to reveal character through other character’s perspective”
On Quinn, her gamer character …
“She was fun to write; I was able to unleash my inner snark and it was completely appropriate for her.”
On her favorite beach …
“Most people are going to think I would lean towards anything in the keys because that’s where the Mer Cavallo series was set, and they would be wrong. I love winter beaches.”
